Data controller and scope
This notice explains how personal information is used when you visit the Weddingland website or contact us. Weddingland is the data controller for your enquiries. For privacy requests, contact info@weddingland.com.tr or +90 542 347 00 44.
Information we use
The contact form asks for your name, email address, event type and message. Your phone number, approximate date, city or venue, estimated guest count and how you heard about us are optional. It also includes your acknowledgement that you have read this notice. These details are used to understand your enquiry, respond to you and discuss the event or partnership you have requested.
The form and WhatsApp
Completing the form or selecting “Review details” does not send your information to Weddingland. A confirmation window first displays the details in your browser, where you can edit them or cancel. The website does not save the form contents to its server or to a form database.
Selecting “Send via WhatsApp” transfers the form details to WhatsApp as prefilled message text in a WhatsApp link. You complete delivery to Weddingland by selecting Send in WhatsApp. When you send a message, your WhatsApp profile and phone information may also be visible as part of that service. You can contact us by email or phone if you prefer not to use WhatsApp.
Collection methods and legal grounds
Information is collected through the WhatsApp, email or telephone communication you initiate. Processing necessary for contract enquiries and quotations relies on Article 5(2)(c) of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. Responding to general enquiries relies on legitimate interests under Article 5(2)(f), provided your fundamental rights are not infringed. Articles 5(2)(ç) and 5(2)(e) apply where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect a right. Acknowledging this notice does not give permission for advertising or marketing.
Sharing and third-party services
The WhatsApp or email service you choose uses its own infrastructure to deliver your message. WhatsApp’s services may involve infrastructure outside Türkiye; its processing and retention practices are described in the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. The website does not send form information to advertising or analytics tools. Relevant information may be shared with competent public authorities when legally required.
The contact page uses Google Maps to display our location. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google servers; Google may process your IP address and browser information and use its own cookies. The Google Privacy Policy applies to this service. Information you enter in the contact form is not sent to the map.
Retention and technical logs
The website does not save form fields in cookies or browser storage. Messages you send us are retained only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and meet any applicable legal retention requirements. When there is no longer a basis to process them, they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised. WhatsApp and email providers also apply their own retention practices.
The hosting infrastructure may create technical access logs, such as IP addresses, request times and browser information, to deliver and secure web pages. These are separate from cookies and depend on the hosting configuration. The site does not include an analytics or advertising system that profiles visitors.
Your rights and requests
Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about that processing, and learn its purpose and recipients. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction when legal conditions are met, and notification of these actions to relevant recipients. You may object to an adverse outcome based solely on automated analysis and seek compensation for damage resulting from unlawful processing.
Contact info@weddingland.com.tr with your request. Only information necessary to verify that the request concerns you may be requested. Applications are answered under the applicable legal procedure within 30 days at the latest.
Cookies
Weddingland’s own website code does not use cookies, advertising pixels or visitor tracking tools. Google Maps has its own cookie and data processing practices. Please see our Cookie Policy for details.
